I dropped my Samsung Galaxy S6 (Ironically, it landed on the phone case) and now, there’s a single, bright pink, vertical line going straight down the middle of my screen. Wasn’t cracked or anything, until a few days later. Now the line is getting bigger, and sometimes I have to plug/unplug/press power button multiple times, just to get the screen to show. Sometimes, it will only show the line when I try to turn it on, sometimes the screen will show for a second and then go black again. Not sure whether to try to get it fixed or if it’s something I can fix myself. I have the right tools, I just need to figure out what the problem is.

The screen needs to be replaced as a whole assembly (Glass and Display) on the phone. Physical damage on the OLED display. Here is an iFixit guide and where to get parts if needed: Samsung Galaxy S6 Screen Replacement Galaxy S6 Screen
