Hi my LG TV suddenly died. When turned on the TV keeps switching between the two displays attached (one with pink fuzz and the other with a distorted LG logo). From what I’ve read it doesn’t sound like it’s the TCON board, I’ve checked everything over and all boards look clean, no blown caps, ribbon cables look fine, disconnected and reconnected everything and it all looks okay…any ideas? The TV only responds to the on/off button on the remote, even the off button needs to be held for some time until the TV actually turns off
@mastuqal definitely not the T-con board. This looks like a bad LCD driver board. That board is part of your panel and cannot be replaced. If anything you could try a new Main board just to rule it out, but it looks like an unlikely source for this.
