I have a nikon D40 which I am using after quite some time. The pictures that I take suing this camera is coming out in pink color.
I have had this problem. Although it was with a different manufacture, I worked at this for some time. I purchased a new memory card, did not even try the ones with the camera in its bag. This seemed to help , but eventually the pickup sensor had to be replaced. The camera das been in the car for a day while it was 32C outside. Temperatures in the car probably rose way over 50C and cooked the camera. Adjusting the white balance will also help some. I hope it is still under warranty. Mine was covered by house insurance, I had a electronics rider. Oh yes the store pulled all the batteries as well they said this some times resets the processor. Good luck
