Our Sony Bravias picture went white/ ghost like after our kids wii malfunctioned and shut down.
for now I would suggest that you unplug all video input sources (cables box etc. as well as all sound equipment. Then unplug the TV and hold the power button down for a minute or so. Plug the TV back in and connect 1 video source only (preferably a local one like DVD player or similar) Now turn your TV on. Let us know what you get. If nothing else post some images of what your screen shows with your question so that we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question Update (05/25/2019) Okay so you have a full backlight but pale video. Any chance you can adjust the brightness down? Does that make a difference? If anything I’d start with a new main board followed by a new power board if that does not work.
