You do not state which model you have or whether you run cable box/satellite,etc. Both the cable box/sat. receiver and the TV have a control to switch the screen ratio. The normal procedure is to set it in the cable box/receiver first. Then, adjust the TV’s ratio. Below are the instructions to set up picture on various Samsung TV’s.
