Does anyone know if easy fix. Screen just goes black & then comes back up showing the input ref like when it first comes on. Tried turning it all off & would do changes to hdmi cable but its happening at random times on all devices linked to the tv
Hi @kjr18 Try having only one device connected to the TV at a time to see if it still happens. If not try the next device and so on. Being intermittent makes it more difficult so you just may have to be patient and wait for it to happen. If it doesn’t happen after too much time try the next device on the TV. If it happens with all devices then try a different input type connection between the devices and the TV, e.g. Component video + audio or Composite video + audio, and check what happens. These use analogue signals and don’t use the digital signal processor on the mainboard as does HDMI (and also co-ax). Just trying to eliminate whether it is a digital signalling problem or not. Has the TV got the latest firmware (may be known as software) loaded? If the TV is connected to the internet, check the TV Settings menu for “Update software” or similar to update the TV and check. What is the model number of the TV?
