Ok so my moms phone stop working and she had it for a long time which means she had aleast drop it like 7 times in water and on floor, and it is a iphone5, it won’t turn on at all no matter what and she had pictures on there that she wanted but she got a new phone the iPhone 7 and instead of uploading the picture on her new one it uploaded pictures of my phone on there but my phone is lost. So instead of getting the her pictures she got mine and she is sad, so how do I get the pictures back from her old phone to her new one
was your mother signed into icloud and using icloud photo library or photostream on her old phone, if so then log into the same account on her new phone as she was using on her own phone, the photos will download automatically when the phone is connected to wifi and on charge, you should also be able to view any photos uploaded to her icloud by going to iCloud.com and logging in with her account details and then selecting photo from the list of icons that appear. if you are interested in getting the phone working then the first stop would be to try a new battery, just lay it on top of the old battery and connect phone to a computer, if it powers on you will then be able to copy any photos stored on it to the computer.
