Just replaced the LCD screen on iPhone 6 and it won’t turn on. I have not put the screws in the metal shield yet. No dim image. It does vibrate when I attempt to hard reset but to no avail. Please help?
Was the screen connected / unplugged while the battery was still connected? If yes, then the issue may be due to the backlight circuit going bad from a short circuit. Have you tried the old screen to see if it works? Also to check for no backlight, unplug and plug the battery in then turn the phone on and check for an apple logo at the middle of the screen with a flashlight. If you see a dim apple logo then the backlight circuit is gone and needs to be repaired by someone that does micro soldering / board level repairs.
