Hello, new account here. My phone worked fine this morning and everything was normal. Ive reached school and the phone will flash the “samsung galaxy s6 powered by android” screen and will then turn off. I cant get into recovery or safe mode, I can, however, get into download mode. Ive tried various button combinations and none of them work except for power + home +volume down (download mode). The phone also wont attempt to work unless its plugged in. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hi @sleepiehd Your Galaxy S6 is stuck in a “bootloop” meaning the phone constantly restarts until the battery is fully drained. I believe the fix for you will be a replacement Power Button. They tend to go faulty and cause the phone to bootloop because they are constantly giving a “Power On” signal to the main logic board. Here is a guide on how to replace this part. Best of luck!
