Hey I have a s6 edge which had a problem with the charging port tried cleaning the charging port for lint as it had helped before but it stopped working completely. Started using a cheap wireless charger for a couple of days which worked fine and then one night it showed as 96% charged (phone was off) and it would not turn on. Any idea on what the problem is ? will a charging port replacement fix this problem? The wireless charger lights up when I put the phone on it so that means it is still detecting the phone but nothing happens. Tried vol up + power + home button but phone doesnt respond.
To hard reset / force reboot a Samsung phone you need to hold Power + Volume down + Home for about 10-15 seconds. Then try turning the phone on again.
