Hello, in fact i didnt replace de screen i just take it off to see the wifi anttena which i was planing to replace. when i was removing the screen, in the last cable, the metal cover on top of the conector fell off it was the bare conector without the metal cover but i managed to disconect the cable without any damage (i didnt see any sign of damage) so i proceeded to conect the other flexes and then i turn the phone on for a test and it started but it had like a bad response on the touch so i turned the phone off and reconected the screen again it worked without any problem but when i turned the phone off to put the metal cover of the screen conectors i messed up a little, i put the left screw where the middle one goes and viceversa (not so tight but still) and then i closed the phone and it didnt turned on at all so i rechecked and everything was conected but it didnt turn on. I started looking in this forums and they said disconecting the batery and pressing the power button to release energy then turning on but nothing works! also tried the hard reset (with the two buttons) but nothing at all. at first the phone was vibrating every couple seconds and was recognized by itunes but now in the morning it wont even vibrate, any help guys? thanks!
Make sure that your connections are tight and all connected properly. A good practice is to make sure the battery is disconnected before tampering with any other components or cables in the device. With the phone vibrating it sounds like the phone is powering on and functioning, but the display is having issues actually displaying anything. If all your connections are good and there has been no damage to the connections on the logic board, first try to connect them without the metal piece, and check if the issue relates to that, otherwise I would look into replacing the display first then if that doesn’t solve your issues you would be looking at a logic board replacement due to issues/damage to the display connectors.
The symptom of the phone vibrating every 5-7 seconds is typically the phones way of telling you that there is a problem with the digitizer/lcd. I would say to recheck your connections at the motherboard and make sure that everything is exactly the way it should be. If you still have problems, it is probably relating to the metal part of the connector that you said had come off. It probably damaged the connector.
