Notice on phone stating Sim card not installed, but it is. I took the phone back to Cricket and “the guy” told me my Sim card wasn’t the problem. He got my Sim card to work on his phone. I can’t text or make a phone call. I can still hook up to internet though.

I’d have to physically inspect the device to be sure. but 90% of the time this is a failed Sim reader. these are usually caused by a broken pin, but sometimes, if it is on a flex cable, the flex has gone bad. There is however, potential for software corruption, or mainboard processing failures. Replacing this reader usually fixes the issue.
