Chosen Solution

Hi, i have an interesting problem with my iPhone 6, After a screen replacement I was locked out and needed to reset the phone. The phone does in recovery mode connect fine to iTunes both on windows and macOS, however, after the recovery has finished and the phone has rebooted, it is no longer recognized by the computers. In macOS it does not show in the device tree and in windows it is recognized as a “eXtensible Host controller”. The lighting port does obviously work since I can do the recovery in DFU mode and the macOS and windoes shows a device “ iPhone in recovery mode” when connected. Has any one have had a similar experience. ? Have a great day

So the phone was restored successfully and now the computer identifies as that USB device right? If yes I recommend trying on a known good computer and try another lightning to USB cable (charge cable).
