My lightning port was getting unreliable. I ordered a new port and a new battery from iFixit. The repair seemed to go perfectly. The phone starts and touch screen works screen works speaker works. I plug into the lightning port and the phone does not show the charging symbol. the battery symbol says the battery is quite low. Any ideas?
Check if the charging flex is correctly attached to the motherboard connector, if its okay then try new charging flex, if still the problem, it can be motherboard case, most of time it’s charging IC, but it should be verified by expert
