My phone just switched off in the middle of a call and won’t switch on now. When I try and switch it on, I just see the Google logo and then it turns off again. How do I switch it on again?
I’m having the same issue…from what I have read I gather that it is a faulty power button all together. Also my further reading leads me to believe that you either need to replace to motherboard or do some serious soldering in order to fix it.
Replaced the battery and that fixed it. But be careful. The battery will catch fire if shorted.
Take the fuckong battery cover off and literally flick the back of it right where the power button is a few times and press it at the same time on and off and you will see when it powers up then stop flicking it. Guaranteed to work 100%
The battery holds less and less. Now it is down to half a day , worse when i use waze. Do i have to buy a new battery?
I too had the same problem which I fixed myself. It the problem with Power Button. Due to multiple ON/OFF or some moisture it is internally shorted, which means Power Button is always in ON state.
