Impact damage to my iPhone 6S. It won’t turn on, won’t charge, won’t be recognized by my MacBook. Yet, my wife says she was trying to call me and it wasn’t going straight to voicemail. It still rings out on other phones like normal, but the phone itself appears to be totally dead. What gives? I’m not real phone savvy, but I did some looking around and it seems the impact may have caused some solder connections to break? At this point, what are my options for data recovery? I don’t have a full backup, but thankfully all my photos are backed up. Still I would like to get everything else if I can.
Since data is important it is better to take this to a local reputable phone shop to check if it’s just the screen that has gone bad.
