I decided to wipe out all my settings and tried to get my phone back to the manufactured state…but when the phone is turning back on it acts like it is about to complete restoring but it just gets stuck at the very end with less than an inch of completion along with the apple logo. I tried doing the recovery mode but it is the same thing…it always get stuck at the very end and never restores. Is this a lost cause and i will need to spend money on buying a new phone or is this an easy fix? PLEASE HELP!
How are you “restoring” your phone? From the phone reset feature or from iTunes or from another app or platform? I manage about 40 iPhones and ran into this issue a long time ago. Depending on your methodology it can be a few things. If nothing was wrong and you just wanted to wipe the phone to “like new” it could be a software issue like trying to restore an older or bad version of iOS which normally should warn you. I have saved only 2 devices from the dreaded bootloop - it really matters HOW you restore/reset/recover the entire device.
