bought a used phone at a yard sale a friend of mine tried to reset it… I don’t know the last gmail or phone number that was on it so sm1 else said to recover it a different way n now its stuck on download odin page..what do I do?
Assuming this is also the same phone that is plugged into the laptop, but the laptop cannot find it, first unplug the phone from the computer. Download and install Samsung USB drivers for developers. http://developer.samsung.com/galaxy/othe… At this point plug the phone back in. If the phone isn’t detected, there is no point in moving forward with the next step. The next step is to go here. https://trueandroid.com/en/samsung-galax… Follow the directions to download ODIN and the firmware, and re-install the Galaxy S3 firmware.
