phone is stuck in headphone mode, plays ringtones but will not play media. im replacing a screen also, should i replace the headphone assembly also?
yes. this is the most common reason for your issue. The HSJack, and CP shorts are usually the reason that it gets locked into a media center mode. replacing one of these two fixes the issue you have the majority of the time
