Microsoft lumina 950 It has been in water can it be repaired

Unfortunately, when your phone comes in contact with liquids its components begin to corrode immediately; this is often a death sentence for phones. Do no attempt to power the phone up as pulsing electricity through the circuitboards can increase the rate of corrosion. Take your phone to a professional who can take your phone apart and clean each component of the water and minerals deposited inside your phone, likely with an ultrasonic cleaner and isopropyl alcohol. M Taylor just to reiterated what @paigereisman already said. Water damage is one of the toughest repair since virtually any part can fail. The most important step to take is that you need to avoid further damage. Never try to power the device on, charge/sync it or use it in any other form. Remove the battery ASAP. After that you have to disassemble the device (in your case the phone) and clean evry part with a high concentration of isopropyl alcohol (90% or better). Here is a guide that show how to properly clean the phone. It was written for an iPhone but every point is still pertinent to your phone as well. While you are cleaning it, check the circuit board for missing or damaged looking components. Once it is properly cleaned, replace the battery. That is an absolute must-do. Only after you did all this, reassemble your phone and then troubleshoot the things that do not work.
