This iPhone 3Gs has falen and I need to fix it. Is this only the front glas that is broken? There is no black spot in the display as if lcd liquid flows out. Touch sensor seems to be ok. Should be fine with the glass/digitiser only, however, check when buying if you’re just getting the glass panel itself or the whole display assembly, if you’re just buying the glass you will also need some adhesive to attach it to your existing digitiser/display housing [which also holds your home button / earpiece / sensors] also if you’re assembling when removing the previous glass ensure you get every last bit off :)
I bought the assembly and on the inside is sort of film with all four edges cut . There is no tab to pull off. I ask because the digitizer is not working all the time.
