After rebooting my Samsung S7 it did not fully turn on and froze on the logo. I have tried also to wipe cache partition and reboot system again but the same thing happens each time! I have spoken to several people but have not yet been successful in resolving the issue! Above anything I just would like to be able to save all the data from my phone including photos and contacts. Please someone tell me there is a way to save my data without having to do a factory reset! Many thanks, Alice

Sometimes you can unbrick the phone without doing a factory reset by doing the below: Download firmware from either Sammobile or Updato. Make sure it is either the same model number of phone, android version or the latest version either works. Flash the same or newer firmware (using ODIN v3.13 recommended) on your phone with the matching corresponding CSC code as explained in this image:

The android firmware usually comes compressed in a zip folder containing 5 files: AP, this contains the android operating system.BL, this is the bootloader file it is used to turn on and boot the Android OS.CP, the modem file responsible for controlling mobile data and calls.Home_CSC, make sure you flash this and not the non-home CSC so that data is not wiped after flashing.CSC, do NOT flash this file it will perform a factory reset automatically after flashing it.
