Hello, my Mi9 fell face down, the screen immediately got green. Not is black with some white strips flashs when I pressed). The phone is intact (can’t see any sign of broken glass or scratch or anything like that). The digitizer looks ok (at least the phone vibrates when I use the fingerprint sensor and the screen blinks when I press. Tried a hard reset with no sucess. Now I’m waiting for a full discharge to try to ressurect but my hopes isn’t high. Is there anything else that I should try before I buy an LCD replacement? Thanks! Best regards
I’m pretty sure the actual display got damaged, but you can try opening your phone up and checking the ribbon cable, if it got partially unplugged. Though, I’d safely say that the screen is dead.
