Hi! I have a Samsung A70 and weeks ago, my phone fell from a 4-5m height from the ground. Upon retrieving it, I was still able to use it until the battery got completely drained out. From then on, it won’t show signs that it’s charging and a single flat line is all there is to show on its display screen every time I try to turn the power on. I hope you can help me. Most likely it damaged the hardware in the phone. But before you take it to a repair shop make sure nothing is blocking the charge port. Dirt, hair, lint, anything. If it’s clear the charging port cable could have been knocked loose during the impact. It could have damaged the charging port. If you are capable and have the skills you should take the back off and remove the mid frame and check the connections. If that looks and it doesn’t help I would try a new charging port. It that doesn’t fix it you will need a shop to repair it because it will need micrsoldering work done.
