Hard reset doesnt fix issue. Reseated cables. No change Have restored phone from backup. Indoors, screen appears blank or off. Outside in direct sun, screen is faintly visible, but almost too faint to make out screen. Operational otherwise. Phone can connect to internet and receive phone calls. Would love for it to be proximity sensor or loose cable. Any thoughts? I very much appreciate any help or suggestions. Pete
You need a new LCD assembly because your current one is damaged. Just order one from ifixit and follow a guide to replace it. The connectivity problem is your antenna sauteed onto your charging port. So you will need a entirely new charging port to fix that. If you don’t feel at home enough in the phone id recommend finding a shop for the charging port .
You must’ve broke your backlight or a ribbon cable when you dropped it. You will need to replace your entire lcd. iFixit offers replacement screens and you can follow their guides.
