I was at my pool with my cousin as a joke he pushed me into the pool. I had a bathing suit on so I wasnt worried until i realized my phone was in my pocket. It was in the pool for at least 5 minutes. I also have a hole at the top of the phone that exposes the inside. What should I do? I have many important photos on the phone that it would be bad to lose.
Take is straight to a reputable repair shop that can open it, clear out the remaining liquid and prevent further damage. The longer it stays in there, the more damage it will create. Rice will do nothing. Faster it is opened and properly cared for, the better chance you have!
