Hello, Long story short, I’m in possession of an iPhone 7 plus that has the screen completely smashed. The phone was working after the incident happened (although, unusable). Some things have come up recently, and it turns out i need some of the data off it. When i plug it into my Mac, nothing happens. I’ve tried to plug it into a wall outlet as well, but that hasn’t been able to give it a charge. I really only need it on and running for a few minutes so i can pull a back up off it. I have removed the screen and the internals still look intact. Do i have any option here, or hope of being able to pull anything off this thing? i can’t tell if maybe it’s one of those pesky instances where the cable needs to be at just the right angle because I can’t see if the apple logo pulls up.
@kelogg by the time you replace everything that was destroyed you are in for a pretty good penny. I suggest that you find an inexpensive otherwise damaged (best would be an iCloud locked phone etc. but those are mostly stolen or found phones) 7 Plus and transplant the logic board. That is essentially your phone. Then download your files and be done with it. iPhone 7 Plus Logic Board Replacement
