Hello, my ipad screen brake so I replaced it with a compatible screen. Before the reparation, my pencil (it’s not an original Apple Pencil, it’s just a compatible stylus) worked, now not anymore. I tried to write with an original Apple Pencil and it works; Is there a way to continue to use my compatible stylus? Furthermore, even though the original Apple Pencil is working, sometimes it doesn’t write good, there are white spaces in the lines that you draw.
Hello Christioan, it often happens that alternative accessories (such as cables, reducers or pens) stop working after replacing the element for which they were intended. You do not write what kind of pen it is, it is possible that this one works only with the original screen and the way of digitizing the touch. As we all know, replacement screens often use cheaper digitizing technology, sometimes incompatible with accessories. On the other hand, maybe it has to do with the lack of power for the period of screen replacement. In this case, remove the bluetooth pair of this device (option forget this device) and build the connection again. I’m sure that’s enough.
