I built this pc several months ago, but I started having issues early last month (December 2022). My pc runs (or ran) most games fine, but games like Fortnite keep crashing. I am also having an issue with War Thunder. When I attempt to boot the game, it promptly closes and gives me a message saying my GPU isn’t supported because its DX10 or lower. My gpu far exceeds this (I have a GTX 1660 Super), and I have up to date drivers installed. I don’t know if this helps, but my pc has a Ryzen 5700X, a GTX 1660 Super, a B550 motherboard, and 32GB Ram. I don’t know if this is the right forum for this kind of issue, but I figured I’d try my luck
Hi @jcr1 Event 41 Kernel power means that the PC didn’t shut down properly, most probably due to the fact that it crashed. Presumably these events were at about the same time as the PC crashed when you were playing, is this correct? Random problems are difficult to find so you have to try things because until you can make it happen or work out a pattern as to why it is happening, you’re only guessing. You can run some checks to help eliminate things so as to try and narrow down what may be happening Here’s some more: Check that Windows is up to date go to Start > Settings> Update and Security >Windows Updates > Check for Updates Run the Windows memory diagnostic to check that all the memory is OK. Run the DirectX diagnostic tool to ensure that all is OK Try disabling fast startup and check if the problem occurs. (remember that since it is random you have to allow time to know whether the problem is still there or not) Here’s a link regarding War Thunder not launching you may want to check through
