I’ve got an all-in-one desktop (ThinkCentre A70Z) and the display stopped working. I replaced the LCD itself and finally got a picture, but upon startup, the screen blinks on and off twice while beeping (the display itself beeps) and then it stays off. I’ve also replaced the motherboard, which allowed me to replace the processor and the graphics card by default because they came with the board. Still doing the same thing. I’m thinking it’s the inverter board because it’s the only other thing display-related that I haven’t replaced and the symptoms don’t seem to match anything else like a board problem or a power supply problem. Also, I did check and made sure everything was securely plugged in. Thoughts? I’m at a loss and I miss my computer.
Hi @sprinklecake , Is there a pattern to the “beeps”? If so, here’s a link to the hardware maintenance manual for the computer. Scroll to p.60 to view the various beep codes and see if your beep error code is listed.
