i was installing new Windows7 over WindowsXP on HCL pentium4 and while installation computer got shutdown due to powersupply cut, now its is showing installation agian and after completing it repeats it, what to do? Please help me

Format the drive, and start again.

If you install the Windows 7 from an CD make sure the PC does not start the Installation again and again from the CD. When you´re installing and the PC does a restart take the CD out of the Disk Drive.
