Hello. I got a laptop Asus X555B (Amd platform A9-9420) which is locked before it can reach the BIOS or boot on any drive with an (unknown) password preventing both. Alt+R/AltG+R when I power it one or when I am on the password imput box do not lead to a “rescue password” imput box with a date or even without, I’m simply stuck with 3 attempts to type the password before having to reboot to try 3 more. I teared the laptop down, but there is no amovible CMOS battery on its motherboard in order to attempt to reset the BIOS and its passwords. In other words, it’s a brick. Is there a way to reset the password without changing the motherboard or playing with a soldering iron ?(I don’t know how to do that, especially on electronic boards) Thanks for any help !

was there visible jumper pins available for clearing the bios password?
