Hello Everyone, I received an iPhone 5s with the problem that a part of the screen is unresponsive. When typing you can’t use the b,g,u letters aswell as in other applications these area’s are unresponsive too. I thought it would be the lcd so I tried to change the lcd. Still the same. A friend told me it could be the backhousing of the iPhone since it was in a bad state and really adding pressure to the screen. But this isn’t the problem either. Does anyone of you have an idea how I can solve this. Tnx in advance
Hey jochem luytens, Thats annoying man, had that too. Look if the LCD shield isn’t too thight. Clean all the connectors on the logic board and connect them again. Hope this works.
First, do what @stijntech said. If that doesn’t work, replace the touch IC on the logic board. (Not the Touch ID)
