So what happened is that i dropped my Asus zenofone max m1, the screen is intact but there is a part of the screen that doesn’t respond at all, and the keyboard is very insensitive when you try to write something, all the repair stores in my town are closed (quarantine) and i really need my phone for work, i don’t know if this is the place for this but i need help I already restart the phone and use safe mode but that didn’t help, i’m not sure if i should go for a factory reset since it was a fall that caused it. Here is a photo of the screen test https://imgur.com/MHzgksF
Hi, It seems as though the digitizer (touchscreen) is faulty due to the fall. It cannot be repaired, it has to be replaced. The digitizer and the LCD screen are a complete assembly, so the entire display assembly has to be replaced. Here’s a video that shows how to replace the display assembly in the phone. Display assemblies are available online. The link is only to show what the cost of the part may be. There are other suppliers online that may suit you better.
