So I’m wondering if i need to get some gtool stuff. I can’t seem to find many reviews or tutorials involving gtools. So its tricky to decide. I’m also not sure if my problems are just slight warping of the frames on my iPhone 6 phones. But I’ve tried so many things. And still i can’t find other options. [linked product missing or disabled: IF145-346-1] So that looks really interesting but so expensive and do i actually need it? I do see tiny gaps of light under my frames when on a flat surface but its hard to know how flat the surfaces are and i can’t seem to get them perfectly flat. The other options are the cheaper presses but they look like they only unbend simple bends not twists etc .. Any advice? Thanks! Update (09/07/2017) Hmm well I’m still confused :s . I took a break from the iPhone 6 phones because it was driving me mad. And I came back fresh ready to go… Bought a new set of OEM high quality bits… Looked great until the final test of pressing the screen when on and the rainbow squashed LCD crystals appeared again!! If something is bent it’s so tiny it’s like .001 mm this is stumping me unless this is as good as it gets?! See photos here (the bit near my thumb… Not the rainbow in left side that’s just photo distortion):
And phone here :
I’ll add a few more soon. But all I can see is the screen is slightly buckled almost unnoticeable… Just can’t figure it out…I had many screen changes go perfectly until these three iPhone 6 phones. I now have many screens parts etc. And all do not fit perfectly. :( Thanks. Update (09/09/2017) Ok so checked brackets and they are fairly tight but maybe not enough after trying to tighten :
They also don’t have the sponge the original IPhone’s have… But I was told this is not necessary. Please note the battery is not stuck down right now. Thx
I’ve got the gtool and the corner tools work great on the iphone 5 series on ipads the attachments seem to just cut the frame… the straightening on the iPhone doesn’t work I found the best way was to use ur hands on the 6 you can easily straighten it just be careful not to damage the board and don’t bend the board side of the phone…. You could also use a bench vice with a piece of wood with a hole as a frame so u don’t damage the camera or camera lens
