My Panasonic TX-40CX400B plasma has no picture or sound. It is giving me the 8 blinks error code which I believe is for the Driver SOS 3 SS board and I can’t find any other information on this, please help
Hi, Are you sure that you have the correct model number and if so that it is a plasma TV? According to this a TX-40CX400B is a LED LCD TV. If it is a LED TV then this is the only service manual that I could find. It is for a TX-40CX400 and not the 400B but usually that is close enough. Unfortunately it doesn’t show any blink error codes and only has a block diagram for the TV circuit, so you may have to start on the power board and go from there. Be patient when you go to download the service manual. After clicking on the reCAPTCHA checkbox and the Go to Download checkbox below the Document preview, it takes a little while to find the file before it changes from ….processing to Download. Click on Download for the download to commence.
