Chosen Solution No picture no sound. @klearly26 Can’t turn on is usually an indication of a power supply issue. Make sure that your outlet works and that your power cable is working properly. After that, you will need to remove the back cover from your TV and check the fuses on the power board. You will need a multimeter (inexpensive department store brand will work for this). If unsure what to test where post some pictures of your boards etc....

Chosen Solution I just finished following the guide to replace my screen. It looks great but it does not respond to touch at all. It’s not glued back in place yet, only held on by the flex cable to test the screen. I was very careful not to touch the screen on initial bootup. Did I get a lemon or am I missing something? If the flex from the screen is fully connected to the motherboard and it does not appear that the connector or components surrounding the connector are damaged, you most likely have a defective screen which can happen....

Chosen Solution I have an A1143 that I am trying to connect directly to my Netgear MR1100 AT&T FirstNet hotspot. I am using the ethernet port on the MR1100 and connecting to the WAN port on the A1143 with a 10ft Cat6 patch cable. The A1143 is not able to pull an IP address from the Netgear MR1100. However if I connect the MR1100 to a unmanaged switch like an 8 port D-Link and then connect the D-Link to the A1143 on the wan port, the A1143 is then able to obtain an IP address....

Chosen Solution Hi. I have replaced digitiser, and before securing screws and sticking down I switched on to test. All seemed to be working perfectly so I went ahead, but after securing I had a problem with screen. I had a line across middle where everything above was perfectly positioned, but everything below was slightly too high. Check the paper path rollers for bits of paper or paper dust, the rollers can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt and oils. Remove the duplexer module from the rear and check for dirty rollers or missing rollers.

Chosen Solution How do I remove the broke piece of micro SD card still inside? Second question is there a setting to control app permission to stop apps from having access to everything as the phone gets to hot to hold? Sometimes these can be removed using fine tweezers or razor blade depending on how the SD card slot is covered. It’s probably the broken microSD card causing a short-circuit on the phone making it heat up a lot....

Try manual wifi settings, look into it, and make sure everything seems right. Chosen Solution My old battery needed to be replaced soon so I purchased one from I FIXIT. I bought the one that was recommended using their screen options to match my laptop. I replaced the battery & turned on the laptop to make sure it was functioning ok & it was so I turned it off to let the battery fully charge. Chosen Solution I have tried 2 new charging port replacements with the same results - No cellular service. I then put the original port back in and cellular signal returned. The phone is an or was unlocked T-mobile and using a Cricket wireless sim (AT&T).
