Chosen Solution I’ve got a 2009 27” iMac 1312 I get no video either externally or on the main screen. But if I unplug the ribbon cable from the main screen the external video works! Any ideas what it could be? Maybe logic board? The LCD was replaced 3 years ago. With the display removed locate the onboard diagnostic LED’s located at the bottom left edge near the RAM bay. There is a piece of black tape covering it....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, Got a randomly rebooting iPhone 3G here that worked fine docked for some reason. Replaced the battery using the guide found on this site. Back together the phone worked fine but it kept locking itself and showing the power off slide bar. I have a feeling that the power button presses itself randomly or something. Chosen Solution My iphone 3g was recently dropped and when I powered back it on, it went white. Now it is just black. From time to time when I charge it, the screen will come up with white lines and I can just make out the apple logo. What have I done to my phone? Looks like you broke the LCD the digitizer might have been damaged as well. The good news is that it appears to still power up so the logic board might still be in good shape....

Chosen Solution The power supply in my Marantz SR-92 Receiver is way out of spec, I need to figure out why, at the 20v side iam getting 30 volts at the 24 volt side iam getting 28 volts, this is causing a mosfet to cook and it is also causing 4 transistors to cook, ive replaced them, it works but they get scary hot, I replaced 2 ceramic disc caps on the psu along with a resistor, This model is a exact twin of the Carver 895 receiver, Please help....

Chosen Solution I had a broken screen so I ordered a new display with home button, front camera and proximity sensor already assembled in the display frame. I replaced the display and all works fine except the proximity sensor. Actually, if I press my thumb hard against the proximity sensor area, it works after a 2 seconds lag or so. Chosen Solution My PS4 slim is the 500 gb version but when i go to system settings/storage the capacity shown is only 353.4gb!Whats going on? Possibly try a factory reset. When you got it did it come with any games or other things preinstalled. if it did, thats whats taking up space and if you really need the space, just uninstall them.

Chosen Solution This one is for experts only… very weird problems! :) Current issues: After being unplugged PS4 will only turn on when waiting for approx. 5 minutes after power cable plugged back, otherwise no beep (only when pressing eject). Also turning off takes around 5 minutes untill flashing lights dissapear. PS4 doesn’t sync with the controller anymore. I can still use it in Safe Mode but the Bluetooth connection doesn’t seem to work....

Chosen Solution Hey guys need some help. 3 yr old Galaxy S5. When trying to turn on, It repetitively keeps trying to boot does not even make it past the main screen. I believe my motherboard is shot. The battery is fine. Does get very warm when trying to reboot. Seeing how I can’t turn phone on to transfer my contacts. Can anyone get my contacts out of it. I am not willing to pay the price of another phone to do so though....

If not, then it could be that a dry joint has occurred at the socket on the circuit-board! this is very common with low end laptops. You’ll need to take out the motherboard to do some basic tests....

Chosen Solution The speaker is fuzzy and sometimes does not have any sound at all. Only one or two of the directions on the D-pad are registering. I’m looking for a way to resolve the issue without replacing either component. I had the same problem with my LeapPad3. Always turn off your device and turn it back on again, as this can solve a few issues your device is having. If this doesn’t work, you will have to remove the back cover of the device and tighten the cable connecting the speaker to the motherboard....

Chosen Solution The charge will switch on and off randomly until I bend the connector at just the right angle, similarly to when a USB cable is broken, but I tried with multiple new cables and I have a feeling the USB port might be deformed, causing the cable’s connector to bend and loosen up. Moreover, it seems like (but I’m not sure) it gets worse when the battery is low and ever more when the phone turns off....
