Chosen Solution My Macbook Air underwent some liquid spill and wouldn’t turn on at all. I replaced the logic board, and managed to jump start the computer with a flat head screwdriver since the power button wasn’t working. Now the computer seems to be working fine (although a little slow), and the whole keyboard seems to work except for the power button. Is there any way to fix the power button (or whatever is causing the issue) without replacing the whole top case?...

The previous owner spilled water onto the keyboard but there are no signs of water damage present, he said he used it for about a year after the spilling but the keys feel kind of crunchy tho and I think the keyboard might be toasted....

Chosen Solution @blinkoutatime so it was JUST one CPU pin which made the whole system not work/turning on? Do I understand that correctly? 😯 Because I have a similar problem changed the RAM, the CPU and the hard drive… I did everything really carefully and exactly according to instructions from iFixit and now my iMac isn’t turning on… 😩🙈 checked the power supply and the power-button cable but everything seems to be fine 🤷🏻‍♂️ … HEEELP 😥...

Chosen Solution Last week I decided to change my original PS4’s thermal paste and give it a good cleaning because after 6 months it was the fan was starting to get loud. I throughly cleaned almost every part even the fan and heatsink and then I applied new thermal paste and thermal pads. I was confused when the fan was still as loud as before and I decided to open it up again and check if I misplaced a thermal pad or something....

Chosen Solution I have TCL tv and its been for little over an year. It has suddenly started creating problem with the volume increase/decrease itself majorly. However sometimes it does navigate itself as well. Any solution? TIA USMAN ASHRAF turn you rTV on and then remove the battery from your remote. See if that stops those things. If so you know it is the remote. If it does not stop you most likely have an issue with the IR board on your TV....

There is 4 bits on the board missing were pin nos 1, 16, 17, and 48 soder to is missing as in picture . Chosen Solution The battery on our S5 mini was bulging and was discharging faster so we purchased a new one. When we put it in the phone it was at 50%. Charged it all night only charged to 74%. Next night turned phone off and did the same thing. We contacted the seller and they sent us a new battery and it is doing the same thing. The old battery still charges to 100 %....

Chosen Solution My ipad 2 suddenly stopped coming on. That is to say that the screen wouldn’t power on or respond to the home button being pressed. When plugged into the computer, the device is recognised and if I didn’t have a screen lock I’d be able to transfer data. It was my thinking that the screen was broken and so I purchased a replacement screen for £20. It has a very sturdy and easy to fit cable, so I don’t think I made any mistaked here, but the screen still does not come on....

Unfortunately I get no audio at all on this machine (no internal speaker available in OS-X ) nor microphone. I think that I forgot or failed to attach everything correctly, but… what? Thanks It sounds like you swapped one of the speaker lines with the microphone line. All three look alike and of course all are located next to each other on the logic board....

Chosen Solution Hi everyone, Replaced the battery in this old iPhone 5s and everything works great except the flash. Any ideas what this could be? I did remove the screen but I thought I took great care not to stress the ribbon cables. Maybe one is not connected fully. Thank in advance. Check the flex cable assembly, which just so happens to run under the battery. Chosen Solution Getting low GSM signal outside of house and no GSM signal inside of home, wifi works, nothing bad, everythin works, only no GSM signal. Checked many time, everthing connected. Do you see any indication that the phone recognizes that it is plugged into a charger? Does the charge led come on when plugged into a charger? Does the screen display any type of a battery symbol when plugged into a charger? Does a PC recognize the phone when plugged in?...

Chosen Solution I just replaced the battery in my Macbook Pro with the IFixIt kit. The installation went great and I charged the battery as suggested in the video. I then adjusted the power settings so the computer would not shut off and let it run down off the charger. This also went great. In the morning I plugged the laptop in and the charger went to orange. After a couple of hours, I turned the laptop on and it does not show a battery status....
