Chosen Solution Recently, I have found that in order for my phone to charge, I have to directly force the cable inside, or to a certain angle for it to charge, which most of the time doesn’t last long. I’m not too sure whether or not there’s a fault at the charging port, as I have tried 2 different cables, and the problem still persists. I have tried looking at other posts, which don’t directly answer my question as there is no dust/lint to be found clogged inside....
Chosen Solution So here’s what happened; My phone started dying quickly and then started turning off and back on all by itself until it suddenly turned off and now won’t turn back on at all. I ordered a replacement battery and the phone still refuses to turn on or do anything at all. What might be the problem? Any advice on how to fix this? Oh also the screen is cracked in one spot but I’ve never had any problems with the screen....

I need to clean the fans, but how to do that? You can try a can of compressed air to remove some dust, but it is best to direct the dusty air out of the computer, rather than blow it inside the computer....

Some are the older Seagate drives and some the FireCuda drives. How should these drives be treated or fixed? The latest came in today and the drive would not format at all except for the 128 GB Boot camp partition. The rest of the drive does not show up....
Chosen Solution Ihave a perfect iPod nano and have hardly used it but one day I just noticed the power was stuck down. It seems like a spring has gone because it doesn’t lift back up. I can only turn it on via the computer or when it is charging. Do you fix this? If so how much will it cost? The battery is made up of two assemblies the batteries them selves and the controller board which holds the micro controller which interfaces with the battery assembly both power and sensors. CoconutBattery is reading the dialog from the controller (date). So… Its possible the controller board was sitting on the shelf for awhile, while the battery assy was newer. COVID has messed up a lot of stuff, so its possible the battery maker was trying to use what they had (granted way old)....
Chosen Solution Upon installation of a new lcd and digitiser on an ipad mini 2 there seems to be a problem with the lcd touching the Base of the digitizer. It doesn’t happen straight away but over a few hours with no usage of unit. It seems to be in the middle of the display, and nowhere near the edges. I’ve changed the digitizer twice, thinking it was that, but it’s still happening....

Chosen Solution I have a Late 2006 White MacBook. It worked well, although there was an occasional issue where after turning the computer off, I could not get it to turn back on. However, I was able to work around this by disconnecting the battery and MagSafe charger for a day or two, and it would turn back on after reconnecting the power. A few months ago, however, this problem occurred again, but I have not been able to get it to power back on at all....

Just No sound! @imgr8tfl you did not tell us if you have power to the keyboard. You also did not tell us if you checked the output on speakers as well as headphone. Let us know. If so then it is time to disassemble it and take a look at your amplifier as well as all the ribbon cables etc....
Chosen Solution I replaced both left and right speakers on my MacBook Pro and sound is only coming out of the left speaker. I opened it back up and took out the right speaker and reinstalled it, and still no sound out of the right speaker. I went into audio settings to make sure it wasn’t muted and that it was balanced between the speakers. Any thoughts on what might be wrong?...
Chosen Solution Hello, I have a 2006 Macbook Pro A1181. No sound. I plug in earphones and I have sound. The sound controls on the key board (F12 ) only work when earphones are plugged in. Person stated that it MAY have started when they tried to plug in earphones in wrong hole (not sure if that mattered). Any ideas of what could be the problem? Chosen Solution Got a free PS3 that had three CDs stuffed in it and after removing them it was working fine (Stress tested, left running for about 6 hours and tried multiple game, also booted half a dozen times) .. until I let someone borrow it and now there is no video output. Have tried: • Rebooting / resetting from wall, back switch etc • Multiple monitors • Multiple cables • Using AV cables • Changing video output mode (Holding down power button while AV is hooked up)(PS3 does not beep after holding power button for 5 seconds, after about 30-45 it will beep then shut off) • Have Pulled apart a second time and checked all exposed plugs after taking top face plate off and nothing is out of place/not hooked up) • Have cleaned contacts on HDMI port as well as possible....
Chosen Solution Hi guys I changed the LCD only. The brightness setting does not work. only ON or OFF, no brightness adjustment. Do you know where the error is? I’m thinking the cable may have been damaged. Multiple pins carry the backlight power. Otherwise the logic board backlight control has an issue. Why did you replace the display? If this was a liquid damaged system the connectors or cable could be corroded as well....
Chosen Solution I have a problem when the laptop goes into sleep mode or I close the screen there is a sudden heat and the fan work without any hard use, the laptop doesn’t work until I put it in the charger and it takes a long time to work again. Possible hardware issues aside, do a complete virus scan and install tinywall free firewall that lets you block internet completely except as you allow....
Chosen Solution my phone charger suddenly began to overheat without my knowledge, and by the time i was able to unplug it the damage was already done. It shows visible, but not extensive damage to the inside, and the icon that indicates a dead phone still shows when I make an attempt to turn it on. Im hoping its possible to get a part replaced so that it can charge again....
