Chosen Solution I dropped my LG Nexus 5, with a heavy impact on the floor. The screen just hung up and became non-responsive. When I long-pressed the power button it just went blank and didn’t turn on again. Charging seems useless as it doesn’t respond at all. Is it worth trying to replace the battery? I opened up the phone, couldn’t notice any visible damage to the motherboard. I agree. I’ve fixed more Android screens with broken internal lcds than busted glass lately....

Chosen Solution did all the trouble shooting of holding the power button blah blah blah. The phone turns on sound is good but see nothing screen is totally black. Your LCD either went bad or is broken. You’re going to need to replace the whole LCD/Digitizer screen assembly.

Chosen Solution how to turn off information bar on bottom of screen this is happening as it is set to demo mode … you will need to go into setting and reset. then select normal operation. its not quite popups its Samsung propaganda ;) Good Luck

Chosen Solution My Odyssey 1997 the tail light only turn on when I step on the brakes @adrianvane make sure that you have the proper light bulbs and that the contacts line up properly. If your light bulbs are proper than you need to check the wiring, most commonly at the housing, for short circuits. I would try putting it into recovery mode and reinstalling iOS. Otherwise, you may wayt to jailbreak it....

Chosen Solution I had a customer come to me with an iPad Mini 3 with a cracked digitizer and snapped LCD. The home button flex cable was also snagged in the damage and needed to be replaced. I reused the spacer, gasket and bracket when installing the new home button. However, after installing the LCD and digitizer, the home button isn’t responding. I’ve taken it back apart and reseated the home button flex cable but haven’t had a chance to test it yet....

Chosen Solution I think you’re fighting a firmware issue. Don’t forget the newer OS’s use APFS and from High Sierra onward the OS installer updates the firmware to allow APFS boot up. So your system might be already updated and the drive (or boot up image) is unable to handle it as its older than High Sierra. I’ve also seen master boot records message up by malware!
