Chosen Solution i think my controller got water damage (thanks to my 2 year old). there was just a little bit of water near/in the charging port while it was charging. It didnt leak out water or anything. I have not seen anyone post anything similar to what it does. If i try to charge it, it glows orange for about a second and stops. it is unresponsive after. when you press the ps button nothing happens, not even from the light....

Chosen Solution My phone is charged and works fine it can receive text and calls but the screen stays black it never displays anything. have did a reset, I have tapped both sides, I have rubbed both sides but nothing fixes it. Brett Munsey since your phone does everything that it is supposed to do, except display anything, I suggest you start with a new display. Since there are no guides on iFixit that show the LCD replacement, I suggest that you use a video like this It will get you there as well....
Chosen Solution My iPhone 12 mini reboots every 3 minutes, reads 0% battery when booting back up, and gives me an “important battery message” saying it does not recognize the battery (even though it is the original battery). This began about a week ago and it was manageable because it would only do the reboot cycling for about an hour each day, and then otherwise would work perfectly fine. Now it has been rebooting for 24 hours straight, I took it to Best Buy but they said since there is likely an electronic issue (as opposed to just a battery issue or a cracked screen) that I would need to pay the full $400 for a replacement as Apple would not repair it....

Chosen Solution I bought a custom painted SNES GBA shell with motherboard and 32 pin ribbon adapter already connected. Insides already trimmed for screen so all I need to do is install AGS 101 screen. I take it apart to put screen in. After putting in everything together. I put some brand new batteries from my other GBA to test it but it will not stay on. I switch the power button to ON position, the green light comes on for a split second then turns off immediately after....
Chosen Solution Can I just put Thermal paste instead of pads on my ps4 memory chips? NVM I found the answer. Because heatsinks are designed to to make contact with components, normally the most critical will get the paste (which is a better thermal conductor than pads). Because of tolerances, chips sitting on balls/solder and component height variability, thermal pads are used to take of the “slop” (as mentioned). Because of the viscosity of the thermal grease, it’s not made to cover large gaps....

Chosen Solution Hello, I just installed a new battery from iFixit in my mid-2010 17” unibody MacBook Pro. It seemed to charge okay and reached 100%, but twice now it will quickly go from approx. 65% to less than 10%. What’s going on? Either battery was defective from factory, or it has gotten hot on it’s initial charge. Chosen Solution I have a 10 gig, 1st generation iPod (yes, from 2002!) that won’t charge. I bought and installed a new Newer Tech battery. When I plug it in, it powers up and the battery icon shows it charging. After a few minutes the screen goes blank. When it is disconnected from power it is dead. I have restored from iTunes and hard reset with no success. (BTW, when I hard reset while connected to power (press and hold menu and play) the screen goes blank, then momentarily flashes the dead battery icon, then the apple logo and powers up....

Could it possibly be a bad battery? stegman.midway11 no way is this a good battery. Go back to where you had the battery installed and have them fix this properly.
Chosen Solution So it all started then my pc was struggling to turn on, I saw a bios setting that said RAID tried that, pc turned off half way through and never displayed again I’ve tried changing display wires , monitor, changed the motherboard, RAM, tested the graphics card at a friend’s it worked on his so it isn’t any of them The pc turns on but no display. Chosen Solution I replaced power supply TCon and main board still no power light and a faint clicking noise when plugged in @byates352 there are really not very many options available here since you already replaced all those boards. Check your electrical outlet for power, check your cable for continuity and power. After that measure the voltage on the fuse on your power board and see if you get power to it....
Chosen Solution I don’t have this exact model of msi laptop, my laptop being a generation old GL62M 7rdx with wn i7 7700hq, 8gb 2400 ddr4 ram, gtx 1050 2gb. I recently just closed the laptop to do something when I came back things worked fine for about 30 seconds then I heard a click, it turned off and now there are no signs of power at all. Chosen Solution I replaced a customer’s shattered back glass/frame and screen. Everything works except there’s a weird issue when I push the after market screen all the way into the frame the phone says “No SIM CARD installed”….when I lift the screen back up the service come back as normal. . The original screen doesn’t have this issue. I tried multiple aftermarket, same issue. what could cause this??
