Chosen Solution Hi, I did it twice before, replacing faulty hard disks in two iMacs, everything went ok, this 3rd machine (only one normal 3TB HDD), i just swapped the HDD with SSD (Samsung 860 EVO) following the guide, with the frame and heat sensor, upon testing I can hear the startup sound but the screen showing just strips, from the rubbish I can sense the system is booting from internet or just flashing folder, the usual sign that no operating system, I double checked the cables and can’t find anything wrong as far as I can tell, but I admit the data cable (the wide cable with lock) may be pushed hard when trying to insert it back, did I damage the screen or the board?...

Chosen Solution I have been repairing phones for a while now as well as watching a lot of repair videos and I have a question about troubleshooting charging issues. I see a lot of folks start with a USB multimeter, see the phone pulling no amps and try a good and charged battery. Phone turns on, still not pulling any amps, instantly blame the tristar chip on the main board. I have often tried to hang a good charge port off the side of the phone and it pulls amps with a new charge port (not the port itself has gone bad physically, but the logics or SMDs on the port cable/board)....

Chosen Solution Occasionally, power button gets stuck on triggers double-click when pressed once. I suspect this is a “mechanic” issue since the phone fell down several time. Is it easy/makes sence to disassembly Nokia 6 and fiddle around with power button to try fixing the issue? this would require you opening the device carefully with the right tools and using a tiny piece of double sided tape to hold button in place where it belongs before carefully closing phone insuring you dont dislodge button, ive personally cut delicate ribbon cable attaching button and had to spend $2 us to replace

Chosen Solution Hi, I donot use my printer frequently and it stays unused for long periods. This time when i started my printer, i can see the orange light blinking, the mini screen showing and exclamation over the color ink meter and the printer making kinds of noises. When i asked the printer to print(black and white) it would only make noises and then stop, in the computer it will show printing process failed....

Chosen Solution The right part of my text is grey instead of black. The rest of the printing is perfectly black but on the right side of the text there’s a whole part that is faded into grey. 2/3 is black and 1/3 is greyish. What can I do? Chosen Solution My wife’s 1 year old plus iPad (3 or 4 I think?) suffered a minor accident (cat knocked it over) and the Lighting adapter broke inside the receptacle. Since it was impossible to retrieve the piece of connector inside the plug I decided to take the iPad apart following several online tutorials (I am usually pretty handy) While I was trying to open the iPad I broke the screen , so once I was done I ordered both the Lighting Connector receptacle and a new screen....

Chosen Solution My camera is having trouble focusing on the subject and so it won’t take the pic for a while and then when it finally does the shutter sound is very slow no matter what setting I have the camera on. Chosen Solution Hi Logan there low quality screens I was having the same issue with screens I was buying so now I only buy screens with genuine lcd and don’t have this problem anymore. I have included pics to show u… If you looked at them off centre they looked negative effect even on boot screen at a angle the black screen looked white. But looking straight on the picture was grand....

Try cleaning the connections with 99% isopropyl and a fine brush and re-seating the connectors after they have dried . Please make sure the battery is disconnected when working on your phone . Chosen Solution Me and my friend were just vibin and playing some gorn on the ps4 slim with the vr set but he accidentally spilled cream soda around the play-station and it sparked and completely shut off my ps4. We looked inside and cleaned everything with wipes and dried everything in 3 hours but when we plug it in. We hear it start but shuts off in a second.Right now im doing the rice trick in case there is still soda left but im fresh out of luck at this point....

Chosen Solution I followed the FixIt guide for replacing a battery on a MacBook Air Early 2015. My older battery was having trouble keeping the charge. I let it charge to 100%, then let it continue charging for two more hours. Chosen Solution My nexus device only turns on when is connected to the charger, it shuts off whenever not plugged in. Some weeks ago i noticed my nexus was randomnly shutting down at 15-21% battery then it got worse now at 55-60% of battery, one week later it came at the point that at 90% of battery shut down and have to charge it again and finally now it shuts off whenever not plugged in....

Last night stopping after about 30 minutes of watching. The only fix is to turn off the TV . Wait a bit and then turn it back on. Software is updated - appreciate any help or advice. Chosen Solution I’ve got a 13” macbook pro A1502/EMC2835 mid-2015 with no SSD. I am planning on buying a replacement SSD, but I wanted to check if it’s OK first, so I used a USB flash drive to create a bootable installer (Mojave), connected it to the mac, pressed the power button and the option key, and I see a flashing question mark in a folder icon. I see this means the machine isn’t finding the USB flash/bootable installer drive....

Chosen Solution A friend dropped my Mac book pro off the couch literally less than a foot from the carpet, and now my Mac screen is black no start chime, and no power! But when I plug it into the MagSafe it turns green and then a couple seconds later I’ll turn orange. I’ve tried the Shift, control, option, and power button but that did nothing. Chosen Solution Message said there was problem with the 19a0020 printhead. Can I fix this problem? Don’t be quite so happy. They replaced my 6830 bad out of the box. Did all of the troubleshooting, bad printhead. The replacement was a “refurbished” 6835. It lasted a few months. Now all locked up. Won’t do anything, print, scan, copy, fax. Original printer out of warranty. So much for a refurbished printer. Seems we are not alone looking at these posts....
