You will have to disassemble the LCD panel from the back. That means you will have to dismantle the complete TV. It is not a terribly complicated job but a bit of a PITA due to it’s size. Was the phone dropped or came into contact with water? Is this your phone or did a customer bring it in? Chosen Solution i recently decided to make another pass at this 2012 MacBook pro which has been sitting in my drawer for some time. I have no history on the unit, it arrived as part of a lot of non-functioning MacBooks. no tripped moisture indicators, and the innards didn’t appear tampered with. said MacBook will chime and boot fine, but never outputs display to the internal LCD. it’s obvious that the backlight isn’t illuminating, and the flashlight test yields no activity on the LCD itself....
Chosen Solution I have sound but no picture @payasopachuco could be a power board, main board or t-con board issue. The first thing you want to check is your backlight. In a darkened room set the TV to a channel that is working (listen to the sound). Then use a flashlight and angle the beam against the dispaly, see if you can make out silhouettes, shpes etc. If so, you know that it is your backlight that may have failed (power board first suspect)....
Chosen Solution First of all it was not powering on with no LEDs lighting up on the logic board. I got a replacement power supply, fitted it and then I had the 1st LED on but it still did not power on. I took out the logic board and took out the battery and re-seated the CPU and put it back together and it turned on and booted as soon as I plugged in the power (without hitting the power button)....

Chosen Solution I had a customer who had dropped his phone resulting in an expanded battery and damaged screen, both of which I replaced, and the phone appeared to be working perfectly. A few hours later he sent me some photos of what the phone looks like now. The brightness is low and the screen appears to have a pinkish hue, at least from what I can see in the photos....
Chosen Solution can i just resolder the connector onto the motherboard? It’s a multilayer board so hopefully you haven’t damaged anything else. If the pad is still attached to that leg get solder all the way round it. It can be fixed if you know someone competent enough to do it.
