Chosen Solution Hi, When closing the bottom case of my macbook pro, I noticed one of the 8 P5 3.1mm screw holes does not hold the screw. The problem does not come from the male thread (on the screw itself) because the problem occurs with all 8 of the available screw, but with one specific female thread (the upper-left one next to the screen hinge as seen on enclosed screenshot). Chosen Solution My kid went through the “slip n slide” with the phone in his pocket, and now the phone wont turn on. Take it to a repair store that offers a water treatment service, I recommend sooner rather than later as if left too long then there could be no hope to get it working again. Or alternatively if you want to give it a go all you need is the screw drivers a tooth brush and some isopropyl alcohol, pull the motherboard out of the phone and get busy with the tooth brush and alcohol, I also like the bath the mother board in the alcohol, if the corrosion is really bad a reflow machine may be required to remove the metal shields to clean under....

Chosen Solution Hi, 4 days ago suddenly the battery life of my iPhone5 was only about a couple of hours instead of a normal 8-10 hours (surfing Internet, calls, e-mails). The phone was overheating and eventually switched off after only 2 hours unplugged. I was able to charge it for a couple of times, but now it’s completely switched off. When plugged I just get the apple for a couple of secconds....

Chosen Solution I just replaced my iphone 7 screen, and its stuck in a bootloop. Ive unplugged the home button, the proximity sensor, and just about everything else and its still doing it. Ive even put the original screen back in and its still doing it. Any ideas on whats causing this or how to fix it? thanks in advance iPhone 7 stuck in boot loop after screen replacement. Chosen Solution My iPhone 4 no longer displays EE and dots on top LH corner, only “Searching…….” Wifi symbol is present and phone still displays my home network. But won’t send or receive calls or text messages. I haven’t changed any settings as far as I am aware. Check to see if you may have turned on the airplane mode. If so uncheck it. To find out how on your phone go to the Internet and type in your phone model and reset airplane mode....

CN751-8007 (Encoder Strip). What HP does is upsell you to a new printer. They give you a discount. Unfortunately, I too had this issue today. I think HP takes a paper jam to their advantage and really shreds the paper so you have to get every last piece of paper out of the inside of the printer path or it just happens again....

Chosen Solution I have a Canon pixma mp160, I was scanning and coping right from the printer not from the computer. I turned it off and about an hour later I needed to scan and printer again from my printer. It sets up as always the when I push to scan and print it does an error code E22. When I try and use my computer to print from it gives me service error 5100....

Chosen Solution After a few minutes the screen goes black but still has sound. The little red light that shows the tv is turned on goes black also. Turn it off and back on it fixes itself for a few minutes then same again. Anyone any ideas? Thanks @emmaloby you want to go ahead and turn your TV on. Once the screen turns back, in a darkened room, shine a flashlight beam at an angel against the screen....

Chosen Solution First there’s ice building up in the fridge, with loud noise. After remove the ice, I found water leaking from under the pantry box. I followed the youtube instruction to remove the cover inside the firdge wall, and unpluged overnight to light the ice melt. After that putting everything back and plug in, the fridge still leaking water and it power off from time to time. but it will turn back on itself....

Chosen Solution I haven’t been able to see anything on the screen in the past couple of hours, but I did drop it. Thomas Schwarz this could be related to a bad LCD or a bad backlight. Check the backlight by using a flashlight and angle the light against the LCD screen. Of course you do want to do this in a darkened room. If it is just the backlight, you should still make out some of the details on your LCD....

Chosen Solution My screen is damaged (cracked). The top third of the screen does not respond to touch. Therefore, I can’t shut off my phone, some apps won’t flip around when you turn the phone. Anything I can do? Use 3U Tools (Freeware) to power off your iphone .

Chosen Solution My SIM card is not being read by my IPhone 6. I replaced the SIM card and it still was “searching’ with no end. I rebooted, restarted, airplane moded, did a network reboot and still it wasn’t reading the SIM card. I did a diagnostic and it isn’t the motherboard, that was a short lived relief. When I pop out out the SIM tray it comes outs fine. But when closing, there’s a slight amount of resistance, or friction, at the completion of closing the SIM tray....

Chosen Solution My camera turns on and will take pictures. It will not allow me to move from the screen or go home. Is the screen bad or the motherboard? I did leave it in the vehicle so it may have been the heat? If it is the heat what did it affect? Well I live in Mississippi. Chosen Solution I’m using my old MacBook Pro as a 2nd computer exclusively for Zoom meetings. Can’t find accessory monitor compatible with MacBook Pro’s maximum resolution of 1440 x 900. One I bought is 1920 x 1080 and there’s distortion. Can you recommend where I might find a second monitor that would display clearly and be compatible with Mac? The confusion of 1440 x 900! What you are seeing is Apples odd size of its laptops display of this generation....

Chosen Solution For many years, I have ran RCA cables from back of this flat screen, to my Carver preamp’s video 1 input. Recently, the signal went bye-bye. I tested all the pre-amp’s RCA inputs and all work properly. Thinking there might be an issue with the RCA audio out’s of Vizio, I bought an optical cable and an optical to RCA converter This did not work, leading me to believe the issue lies with the audio outputs on the Vizio....

Chosen Solution I use my laptop mostly with external display via displayport, but laptop always in open state(use internal monitor also). No water or drop damage – on half of working day internal monitor became black but external continue working. I try reset/boot macbook with keyboards shortcuts but with no success, so probably hardware problem. I use flashlight to check display and i can see that display working. In most cases to which part of display(or whole display) this issue could be related from your experience, and from which point i need to start ?...

Chosen Solution I am from India. We own a LG 42LW6500 3D LED TV. When switched on our TV shows no image at all. We opened the TV back cover and found that the backlights are working and the circuits are also not damaged. But still when I switch on there is no image in screen and couldn’t check sound as we were not able to navigate. The service guys reported that the TV Display is gone and you have to buy a new one as the warranty is over....

In the last month I’ve come across 535 I’ve changed the digitiser so many times on these and non have worked. I’ve tried genuine ones, copy ones, ones off Working 535 I’ve tried factory resetting the devices after repair but nothing works. Any ideas?
