Chosen Solution Hard reset doesnt fix issue. Reseated cables. No change Have restored phone from backup. Indoors, screen appears blank or off. Outside in direct sun, screen is faintly visible, but almost too faint to make out screen. Operational otherwise. Phone can connect to internet and receive phone calls. Chosen Solution The i wrote the whole thing but in short its like this. I have tried resetting, cleaning the print head, but the print head is not working, the main goal of this thread not changing the printhead. As i cleaned the print head for about 4 times and reset the printer it gave me an error and it started printing two pages error reports. The real question is if it can print then the Print Head is not damaged and it can be used so i am here to see if there is any custom firmware or hack or anything else of that nature, in order to force the printer to make it work regardless of these errors at all!...

Chosen Solution Did someone change the battery of htc m7 and have some problem with app stock of camera? I’ve already done with factory reset on setting but no success and even using htc’s test ##3424## Have you tried reseating the camera? Take a look at the camera connector, cable and the nearby traces.

Chosen Solution My ps3 slim model CECH-3001B refuses to start. When I pug it to power , the stand by (red light) will come steady (no blinking), then if I press the power button, the (green light) will turn on and the fan will start spinning for probably a second and then it turn completely off. I pulled power supply unit out to tested, and it seems to be ok. I also press the eject button while disconnected from power and then connected to power and the system comes on with green light and the fan spinning fast for about 10 seconds, then it will shut down with all lights off....

Chosen Solution Hello people, I bought a defect ps4 for cheap as i like to tinker with electronics. It’s a cu1216B. It would’t start as the powerbutton was broken off. So i cleaned the console, soldered on a new powerbutton and put it back together(without the housing) with freshly applied thermal paste. I started up the console and the first thing i noted is no blue or white light coming from the leds and also no screen or sound(The HDMI port seems to be in good order)....

Chosen Solution How do u fix a broken port Gavin, the charging port on th 7".8" and 10.1" tablets are all soldered to the circuit board. To replace those you will have to disassemble your tablet, remove the circuit board. then un-solder the old connector and replace with a new one. Sometimes it is the solder connection that has failed and a quick resolder might fix it. It will all depend on what tablet you have, your tools and your skills....

Chosen Solution I bought a ps1 the other day. The AV cable was slightly rusted and bit bent so I had to use pliars to bend it back into place. After that, the AV cable fit perfectly but I fear that the cable might not be working. I’m using a digital plasma tv, that has the yellow-red-white connector slots, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Chosen Solution Got a machine in that had been repaired by a competitor. They were supposed to fix the trackpad. They didn’t and they left out the trackpad cover plate. I’m looking for that part or part number. Without it the trackpad won’t click correctly. @blakeklein @mayer - I’ve not found it missing or damaged enough to interfere with the trackpad. But I think you could fashion a replacement plate out of a soda can carefully cutting out the tubular section from the top & bottom parts and splitting it down the side....

Chosen Solution 17” PowerBook g4 with mod A1057 battery. Have run with power adapter for years with dead battery. Installed “refurbished “ battery which charged with PowerBook off but when I push the power button all that happens is the internal fan runs . This has occurred with two different batteries. Would like the portability returned. Update (11/22/2019) It has worked for years off the power adapter and still does. Wanting portability I purchased two batteries and they both do the same thing ....

Chosen Solution My imac has no chime and dark grey screen Could use more info. No chime usually indicates no power on an iMac. I would check power cable to make sure it is alright/try another. Then I would start leaning towards a power supply replacement.

Chosen Solution Fix a ton of these. first time this has happened. Lg d801 tmobile, now has no service. Full bars, reads sim, but when i try to call, emergency calls only comes up. If it is a phone they left with you for some time make sure they didn’t provision another SIM for that number. cross fingers hope that’s all it is. Try a different sim on the same network, double check antennas are connected properly (clean with alcohol and reconnect)...

What do I do I’m lost? @malik144 “Non-System disk or disk error” most likely a failed HDD. this error appears when your computer cannot find the OS. If you give us your complete model we can probably find more information about this for you. You could diagnose this by checking to see if the HDD still shows up in your BIOS and if your computer can load from another device into an OS....

Chosen Solution I have an Ipod nano 4th generation with a non working display. On releasing the ZIF connnector I found the screen ribbon had corrosion damage on a couple of the contacts(inside the connector.) I’m a bit surprised at this because this stuff is gold plated. One piece of track had completely disappeared. Does anyone know a way of repairing this or is it a scrap mainboard? Update (09/24/2010) Thanks for the suggestion but the damage is on the plug part,(ribbon attached to the mainboard) The display has the socket half....
