Chosen Solution so my iphone 6s is charging its keeps turning on and is on 1% then shows passcode then turns off and turns on again its keeps staying at 1% please help me asap It is likely that the battery has reach the end of its life cycle and will need replacing. That is the cheapest repair to try first. If that doesn’t solve the issue, then the next likely cause is either software corruption or Tristar chip on the logic board needs replacing....

Chosen Solution Machine could not be switched on. Replaced the logic board battery, reset the PMU, did all the other tricks recommended on this site. Took the machine to pieces, got to the power board, removed the obviously faulty resistor. Having trouble identifying it since the colour bands are hard to make out, could be a browny green or a greeny brown. It could be 12 Ohms or a smaller number....

To start with; is it possible to extract data from a non-functioning water damaged phone? If the phone won’t turn on (and is not repairable), how is it possible to extract the data from it? Second, I opened it up to try to see where the liquid contact indicators are, in an attempt to see if they might have switched out the board for another non-working one....

Chosen Solution OK, so I just built a new computer and haven’t even put Windows 10 on it yet, I have a 500 GB Samsung SSD and my motherboard is a gigabyte H370, the problem I’m having is that when I turn my computer on and have the Windows 10 USB plugged in the Windows 10 will show up as the first boot priority but the 500 GB Samsung SSD is not a boot priority, however it still shows up in the SATA setting (I have it plugged in to SATA-1) because of this my PC can not download Windows 10 properly....

Chosen Solution I recently bought a new LCD screen replacement but the hinge is off by a mm. Is it possible to bend the hinge or would it cause long term damage? Any other way to scoot it over? All the wires fit but the hinge doesn’t. The left side fits fine but if I put in the right side first, the left side is off more compared to putting in the left side first....

Chosen Solution long story short, thought my original SSD kicked the bucket, installed a new one. Disk utilities not recognizing drive when in internet recovery. Could it be a bad SSD controller on the board? does anyone know of any other ways to test it? I don’t recommend using M.2 SSD’s with these cheap adapters. Sadly, I don’t find them reliable. I have a very full drawer of failed units. I think you’ll find getting the proper custom Apple SSD or one of the direct plug in SSD’s from OWC or Transcend will be better....
