Chosen Solution My PC won’t turn on and at first I thought it was the power adapter (the PC has an external power adapter) but it turns out when I was messing around today trying to diagnose the issue, I found this out; the the USB ports directly connected to motherboard give off some power, don’t know how much. My VGA to HDMI adapter which also requires you to plug in this USB cable connected to the adapter which turns a light blue if it is connected successfully and the light turned blue when plugged in....

Chosen Solution I was charging my phone at the airport soon as my plane landed and got back home, connected the phone to charge it again and it didnt work, phone working fine .. tried different chargers and cables, confirmed the charger itself works. now the phone is dead with no charging icon. I opened it up checked for continuity on the flex cable from daughter to motherboard and from charger to battery all seems fine....

Chosen Solution Hello. I am trying to revive a dead iPhone 5S. When I power it on the PMIC gets very hot. I measured the board and found the C102_RF gives approx. 170 ohms. I desoldered it from the board and the board still shows 170 ohms resistance to ground. On working board there is no resistance. Is it bad Wifi chip or it could be PMIC? Can you give me advice what to do next?...

Chosen Solution I have a Panasonic Inverter microwave oven, rated 1.25kW. Though this isn’t quite related to the problem, the light on the inside of the microwave oven has gone out. However, before this even happened, occasionally, the microwave oven would randomly stop microwaving food, as if the door had been opened. You had to press Start again to continue microwaving. It also tended to happen multiple times in a row soon after, and one time, some food was placed in for 60 seconds....

Chosen Solution Okay so I have no explanation for this. In short bought a new battery. Then even with that the power in the car goes crazy like it was unable to hold a serious charge. But if I let my truck idle for 10 minutes or drive for an hour it stops. I dont get it. Try this it worked for me, anytime you have to disconnect your battery for whatever reason you need to re-set the computer or you may experience things like your windows and locks not working properly or other problems like Andrew is having and we don’t want any of those problems so try touching your battery cables together and leave them together for 5 to 15 min....

Chosen Solution How do I properly factory reset my tablet so it no longer makes me sign it. I want someone else to have it. I need to do a full factory reset like it would be when you first take it out if the box what do I do? If you go to Settings –> Back up and Reset in Android, and use that option to reset, it will correctly remove any accounts and protections....

Chosen Solution why my screen is real dark after i put put a new lcd try a soft reset. Hold down the home and power button together for 15 seconds until the unit reboots. Itll fix it. Or you blew the backlight coil in repair. Real dark as in no backlight? Did you disconnect the battery before replacing the LCD? If not, you may have damaged the blacklight circuit.

Chosen Solution Hey all. I am repairing a N3DSXL and replaced the bottom screen with a replacement from ebay. Unfortunately, the 3DS won’t turn on when I try to boot it up. It turns on with the blue power light and the bottom screen can’t really turn on and a slight ‘pop’ is heard. Chosen Solution I have Microsoft Surface Studio 28 inch desktop computer. I accidentally dropped it and shattered a screen digitizer. The computer still works and there is no damage to the lcd screen itself. Just the broken touch screen digitizer screen. Chosen Solution Like the title says, I’m trying to teach myself microsoldering, which may not have been the best idea, but hey it’s whatever. I’m working on an iCloud locked iPhone that I purchased for dirt cheap in the event that I did screw up. Anyways, I removed the touch IC chip, cleaned the solder pads, cleaned logic board with alcohol, and then let it dry. Hooked it up to the phone and when I try to power it on (for the first time at least) the screen flashes for about a millisecond with the “dead battery” sign on it and goes off and won’t come back on....

Chosen Solution no light on the adapter. battery is flat. have tried to disconnect the battery, reset left shift, command, option, start button 5 sec, different power adapter, what else can be done with a dead computer?? on thing interesting. if I plug an adapter on a computer that works, green light on. i remove this adapter and put it on the dead computer, the light comes on for about a minute then dims out....

Chosen Solution Hi, Recently I’ve bought an iPhone-5 that was working normally but the display had problem. I know a little repairing and not an expert. When I opened I’ve found that there is a diode connected somewhere close to (Schematics- DZ9 and J6 leg number 8) and somehow its got disconnected while I was working and after that the phone is not turning on. Then I was looking through the logic board with schematics and found out that the following parts is missing (Schematics code- C355, DZ9 and Q2) I’ve no idea how it was working with a external diode someone connected must be very expert....

Chosen Solution We lost power for appr 1.5/2 hours. Now , when people call, the phone does not ring and does not go to the answering machine. If the phone doesn’t ring at all its possible you have a sim fault or network problems in your area. Try cleaning the sim and reset the phone by holding the power and home buttons down until the logo appears. Also check your postcode in the status link in my signature....

Chosen Solution phone was working fine for past year…removed sim card and when i put it back phone was not detecting it…have tried other sim cards and they not been detected either…is there a problem with phone could be, 1-Check the sim connector whether having damaged pins or bent ones 2-Re solder the SIM card holder pins and try 3-Change the sim reader 4-if non of above works you should have to replace SIM central IC too
