Is it black but you have audio and can see shapes/menu etc. when you shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen? That would be the backlight. I have disassembled the unit and unsoldered the rechargeable Maxell button battery from the circuit board but the part number of the battery is partially obscured by the welded-on contact strap. Chosen Solution My parents just got a brand new dryer, not having ever used one before (they come from a country where everyone air dries thier clothes). Before we get started, lets rule out the obvious issues. The cord is installed properly, the door switch is fine, and the thermal fuse has been checked. The outlet has also been changed. I tested the voltage, going into the dryer, and it looks like hot - neutral gets 250v, hot - hot gets 250v, and hot - neutral gets 0v on a multimeter....

Chosen Solution I installed a new replacement screen and placed a new tempered glass screen protector on. Put my phone in a new Otterbox case and found a crack under the screen protector after carrying it once in my back pocket. Is there any warranty for ifixit screens? If you did not sit on it it sounds like it would be covered under warranty, check with ifixit support

It is usually not the actual backlight that is out, but the backlight power inverter, which can be replaced. Google or go to Utube and find backlight power inverter replacement. There are many sources and quite a few videos on how to accomplish this....

Checked so far: Both internal fuses ok Thermal cutout ok New quartz grill element replaced (twin) Control panel & display appear to be working perfectly. Door switches appear working ok. No power to grill element. Possibly a power relay failure, but not sure how to identify this part or if its easily replaceable? Chosen Solution Hi all, My PS3 Slim wouldn’t read/eject discs properly until i rebooted the PS3 or it would make a loud noise whenever reading a disc. I decided to open the PS3 bueray drive, take out the disc that was already there , clean the optical laser lens (carefully) and then manually reassembled everything carefully (cords connected etc) Now when i turn on the PS3 the blueray drive is extremely loud like a fax printing machine and doesn’t accept any discs at all....

Chosen Solution Using the repair guide for Screen Replacement on Step 23 (Antenna removal) I stripped a couple of the P2 1.5mm screws. I can get them out, not worried about that, but they will be destroyed in the process. Since they are not going to be reusable, where can I find replacements?? Brief Google search finds me lots of options for iPhone screws, but not just P2 screws of any length....

Of course you do need to check your antennas etc. as well as the components on your circuit boards to ensure that those are ok. You also want to take a look at videos like this that show possible fixes. Don’t change IC’s just for the sake of changing and hoping it will work....
