Chosen Solution With paper in the printer “No Paper Error” keeps coming up. When the printer status page it printed the feed rollers move down to the paper however they do not roll or move at all to pull the paper through the printer. All of the additional rollers after the feed rollers are working properly because when you push just one sheet of paper through the feed rollers the second rollers will grab the paper and pull through the duplexer rollers....

Chosen Solution In the past year, I began to revisit my DS Lite. I had not used in over four years and it failed to turn on at first. However, I temporarily fixed the problem by hitting the DS again the butt of my palm. The problem reappeared and I realized that if it pressed hard on the bottom left corner of the screen the DS would freeze. The problem continued to occur but I solved it each time by hitting the bottom of the DS under that corner of the screen....

Chosen Solution I bought a used Samsung model HTF - 435 RK/ZX receiver and it did not have any speakers or wires attached to the unit so I do not know the correct way to connect the speakers (positive and negative) coming out of the receiver, it is not labeled. I am trying to hook it up but I want to make sure what side is positive and which side is negative....

Chosen Solution I have a surfacebook 2 13.5”. The battery in the keyboard swelled up and I want to replace the battery — but I only see batteries for the 15” surfacebook. The 13.5” length is 31 cm while the 15” length is 34 cm. I cannot find a 13.5 “ battery .. only the 15” one on your IFIXIT site. Any suggestions please? If I replace the battery, do I need to buy a new keyboard casing too?...

Turn off the iPad and make sure the charging cable is not connected....

Chosen Solution I have attached the image - this is inside underneath battery a small black plate above the touchpad - While removing battery this item came off . What is this item called so I can check for a replacement The part is a trackpad shield to protect the trackpad. Clean off the glue and flatten it down, then just re-use. I use tesa tape along the edge of the trackpad case edge making sure not to get into the trackpad area....

Chosen Solution So I put a new hard drive in my MacBook and when I went to load the OS, the screen is mostly white but looks like it has lines of green and red in it… the Apple symbol shows and the load bar, but shortly after… the screen goes black and the computers fan just runs harder… any suggestions? Ouch! Your dedicated GPU has failed. This is a common failure in this series....

Lines of red and blue came through tv vertically when I was watching something but you could still see picture. Then it was intermittent. It would be fine then gone again. Chosen Solution Why would I not be getting spark First, is your battery in good health and the positive and ground terminals clean and making good contact with the battery? Does it try to turn over, it just doesn’t fire? If it is just one cylinder with no spark, then I would guess a spark plug or spark plug wire at fault with a small possibility of a failed ignition coil pack....

Chosen Solution My home button has stopped working, I purchased a new home button however this still does not work. I purchased a full screen replacement inc camera, home button etc and this works fine. What is the fault? In most situations the home button link cable is at fault. It’s the cable that runs up the back of the EMI shield, that connects the home button to the logic board....

Chosen Solution My 11 year old Autistic son will only watch movies on this old TV that’s shaped like Lightning McQueen from the movie Cars from Disney Pixar. It’s been functioning fine, but as of yesterday the volume will only come out if he plugs headphones in. No sound out of the speakers themselves. I’ve messed around with what few settings there are with no luck and am sort of out of ideas....

Chosen Solution When i open up my macbook its kind of flickering and i have flickering lines on the display. After a few moments they disappear until i touch the displays position. it began after an update. But it looks like a hardware thing because its reproducable by changing the display angle is the cable breaking? Is this just a deep os issue? i would get to an Apple Store to get this looked at ASAP!...

Chosen Solution Hi guys. I have the same problem. My Panasonic TV TX-48CX400E was working fine until last month. After that, i am watching TV, and suddenly, the screen goes off and i still have sound. I turn it off with the remote, TV goes totally off, and turn it on again, and goes in a loop. After 10-15 minutes screen goes off again and still have sound. I already total reset the TV, already change all the parameters of time, eco-mode On and Off, picture details, etc, and the only thing that helped was disconnect the TV from power socket....

Chosen Solution All passenger windows switches won’t roll down or up only drivers side can make them go up or down?? While rolling either down or up and one of the passengers switch gets pushed it stops the window…? Could be the window lock switch “WDO LOCK” It could be faulty or even simply pressed without you knowing. I hope this helps. Hi @ Norman Tate, It won’t be the fuse....

Chosen Solution My (I admit it, really old) Macbook, that I love a lot, suddenly didn’t turn on anymore today. After an hour, I tried again and it worked, but now the screen is green (like a haze or a shadow). I searched other forums, but in my case the colour stays permanently (except sometimes it stops suddenly for some seconds and than starts again), even after turning on and off, waiting, taking battery out (advantage of old macbooks) and so on....

Chosen Solution I’ve just finished replacing the logic board in my dead galaxy s9. Prior to replacing it the screen was perfect. After putting it back together, my screen has a bunch of LEDs near the bottom that won’t display blue colors at all. If I’d have to guess, I might have heated the screen too much when trying to remove the back cover/battery. Question is, does anyone know any way (dumb or risky to the screen itself) to try and fix this situation other than buying a new screen?...
